Synthetic Turf Manfucturer and Installer Company Merger

Consolidation in Sports Turf Industry follows trends from other industries. In the past 5 years we've seen larger paint manufacturing companies purchase regional and niche companies, e.g., Sherwin Williams purchasing Mautz and Conco Pro Paints, Pioneer Athletic purchasing Suntec Paints and Coatings Specialists Group.

Now the latest consolidation is taking place in the synthetic turf manufacturing and installation industry.

Integrated Turf Solutions (ITS), one of the largest manufacturers of artificial turf products in North America has merged with SprinTurf, a marketer and installer of synthetic turf systems. ITS-SprinTurf will be the first fully integrated polyethylene turf manufacturer in North America. ITS operates two manufacturing facilities in the United States.
