How to Save Time and Improve Sports Field Marking and Lining Operations

Tru Mark Athletic Field Marker, Norfolk, NE (02/01/2011)

Having a hard time finding the soccer or football field intersections in the fall from the earlier season field marking activities? Does securely holding a string at a corner when field painting seem to be more than a hassle?

Your sports field operations should then consider the Tru Mark Field Marking and Lining Tool Package. By updating and integrating several field marking tools into a package Tru Mark will save the sports field marking and lining staff time when locating and lining the field of play.

The field marking and lining tool package consists of the Field Line Anchor, Turf Stake, and Marking Whisker Plug. Now with a zinc plated steel anchor installed at the appropriate locations, a marking whisker plug to quickly visually locate, and a turf stake to secure twine line for paint striping you have all the tools to maintain your sports field lines (other than painting). Add in a time saving string winder and you are set for a year of field marking and lining operations. For the soccer community you can further add the soccer corner and marking flag to your tool set.

By purchasing the Tru Mark Field Marking and Lining Package you'll benefit in a total savings over individually purchasing the tools, $89.97 for a set of 4, with a choice between white or orange marking whiskers.

To better understanding how these tools support different parts of the field marking and lining operations review a Field Line Anchor, Turf Stake, and Marking Whisker Plug photo album.

These Tru Mark Marking Whisker Plugs can also be used separately to mark baseball and softball batter boxes. Locate the intersections once, drill a 3/4" diameter hole approximately 5" deep and then bury the marking whisker plug. You'll no longer have to pull out the batter box template to outline the box, just line up the marking whiskers and go to chalking the lines.

Having a hard time squaring up your field using different size field combinations? Looking for a quick method to layout a sports turf field? Check out the soccer, rugby, lacrosse, and ultimate frisbee layout tools using a MS Excel template to input field dimensions where the tool automatically calculates the distances to the different staking points. You'll achieve a perfectly squared field of play in a fraction of the time!
