It not a good sign when a major industry market leader has filed an approximately $30M lawsuit against its primary synthetic turf manufacturer.
This could put into question all the past installations, installation underway, and proposed projects from different vendors that are representing FieldTurf. FieldTurf has very recently filed
lawsuit against the turf manufacturer TenCate (an alleged inferior product being provided). From another source in the industry there has apparently been numerous warranty reports submitted by FieldTurf customers where the product has failed in some degree associated with their 8 year warranty. This lawsuit was filed in Georgia Northern District Court which is in the jurisdiction of where TenCate has its manufacturing operations.

FieldTurf has a big target on their back partly because of their market share and large operations thus they have a
fair number of law suites registered. Besides putting into question the whole industry, this could damage FieldTurf's reputation (and future business) in the industry and the number of new products they've promoted and introduced over the years.

I suspect the sports turf managers supporting synthetic turf fields would like to see this recent lawsuit resolved quickly and that they can expect their turf warranty will stay in force if problems arise.
