Tru Mark RS-500 Engine Winterizing Process

Turf _Tips, Product_Review
Tru Mark's self-propelled riding RS-500 model field markers utilize the Briggs & Stratton Intek overhead valve technology with electric start. The current RS-500 models use the B&S model 31G777-0297-B1 engine, a 17.5 HP unit.

Tru Mark rotates the engine on the chassis so the muffler exhaust exits the rear of the unit versus the side and the charger system has been upgraded to a 16 ampere charging system to support the two 12-volt diaphragm pumps. A specialized muffler guard has been added to ensure a safe barrier. The B&S gas, air, and oil filters are still easily accessible on the chassis with the swing out paint tank brackets.

When it comes to winterizing the unit we recommend following the Briggs and Stratton procedures as shown in the video.
